And, What kind of testing device are we using - which is shown on our website? You can easily check the Calibration yourself, in house, as we do on all 507C Sonic Tension Meters that we sell! We check the Calibration using downloadable "Guitar Tuner" software on an iPhone! If you have access to an iPhone, iPad or, a 2nd or 3rd generation iPod Touch with an external mic connected to the iPod Touch - just download the Cleartune - Chromatic Tuner application for $3.99 US from the App Store on the iPhone. We set the Cleartune software at 440.0 Hz when we test the Sonic Meters, or any optional sensors and we have never found any out of calibration. You can use any frequency you want (and we have) as the Sonic Meter shows how accurate it is at all the frequencies but, we settled on 440.0 Hz for all units being shipped. Note: you can use any tuner that displays the frequency it is generating!
