We
have concentrated our training efforts on our strengths continuing to provide
quality Laser Shaft Alignment classes both on and off plant sites in the Southeast.
We have expanded our existing Laser training classes to include training on
all of the Prüftechnik AG laser shaft alignment systems.
Having
been involved with laser shaft alignment systems since 1986, and industrial
power transmission equipment since 1966, we are very qualified to provide the
type of training your plant requires in a professional proven training atmosphere.

Rotalign®,
Optalign®, Aligneo® and Masterlign® Laser Shaft Alignment Training
Courses are conducted at your facility by Voelzow & Company, or our representative,
for 6-8 students maximum per class.
Training
courses, 1-day through 5-day, are available ranging from Introductory, Comprehensive
and Advanced. Multiple day trainings generally are held concurrently. If concurrent
classes are not practical for your particular plants situation - special arrangements
will be made.
The
level of training, Introductory, Comprehensive or Advanced,
will be decided before the class day. Advanced training courses are presented
only to individuals already using the laser system.
The
training should be held in a meeting or training room. We instruct using alignment
simulator(s) that we bring to your facility and will use your laser system and
one of ours. Please Note: Training dates are subject to availability of instructors.
All trainings are conducted in the Southeast United States.
Norm
Voelzow has been a Laser Shaft Alignment Specialist and Instructor for
the past twenty-one years. Prior to starting Voelzow & Company, a manufacturers
representative business, with his wife Bev in 1997 - Norm was employed as an
Instructor and field sales person by Ludeca, Inc., of Miami, Florida. Ludeca
is the US distributor for Prüftechnik AG of Germany. Prüftechnik AG
is the inventor of Laser Shaft Alignment and the Optalign® and Rotalign®
systems. For the past twenty years Ludeca has been active in the research and
development of better methods, equipment and training in the field of Shaft
Alignment and Alignment Monitoring of Industrial Rotating Machinery.
Prior
to joining Ludeca, Norm had 20 years of field experience in sales and service
of industrial rotating equipment in the Southeast United States. This experience
has built the foundation for today's activity in the complex field surrounding
shaft alignments.
If
you were fortunate enough to have Ronnie White
as your Instructor - then you know that you had one of the finest instructors
in the country. Ronnie lives in Elizabethton Tennessee with his wife Betty where
he heads the Millwright Skills Department at Tennessee Technology Center - Elizabethton.
The
program at Tennessee Technology Center - Elizabethton is one of a kind and Ronnie
was instrumental in bringing the program to life as it was his idea and persistence
that got the State's attention. We are very fortunate to be able to use Ronnie
as one of our instructors from time to time as his Millwright Skills and Instructor
experience, both on the jobsite and in the classroom, really shine in the Alignment
classes.
